Uniform Guidance Playbook publishes general information and self-assessment tools about compliance with 2 CFR Part 200 and related federal requirements. Please read this before relying on anything here.

Federal rules only. The tools reflect the federal regulations and OMB guidance cited in each file as of the version date shown. Your state, your funding agency and the terms of your specific award may impose additional or stricter requirements. Where they differ, the stricter rule applies.
Rules change. Thresholds, section numbers and requirements in 2 CFR 200 are revised periodically, and a proposed revision published on May 29, 2026 was pending when this site launched. Always check the version date on a tool and confirm current requirements at ecfr.gov before acting.
No guarantee of outcomes. A “Ready” score on a readiness check is a statement about your documentation as you reported it, not a prediction of audit results. We make no representation that using any tool will prevent a finding, questioned cost or disallowance.
