Free tools
Free tools may be downloaded, used and shared within your own organization without charge. You may not sell them, offer them as part of a paid service, or republish them on another website without written permission. Attribution is appreciated but not required.
Paid products
A paid product is licensed, not sold. Each purchase grants one organization (one nonprofit, one unit of government, one tribe, or one firm office) a perpetual, non-transferable license to use the files internally. It may be shared with staff, board members and your auditor. It may not be resold, redistributed, posted publicly, or used to deliver services to third parties unless your purchase is a firm license that says so.
Refunds
Because products are delivered as digital files, refunds are at our discretion. If a product does not do what its page says, write to [email protected] within 30 days and we will make it right or refund you.
Updates
Tools carry a version date. We revise them when the underlying rules change and reissue them on this site. Free tools are always available in their current version. Paid products include revisions issued within the same version year; a new edition after a major rule change may be a new purchase.
