Uniform Guidance Playbook (“we”, “us”) is a small publisher of compliance tools. This policy explains what we collect when you use uniformguidanceplaybook.com and what we do with it.
What we collect
Free downloads. Downloading a free tool requires no account, no email address and no form. We do not collect personal information when you download a free file.
Purchases. If you buy a paid product, checkout is handled by our store software (Easy Digital Downloads) and payments are processed by Stripe. We receive your name, organization, email address and billing address so that we can deliver the files, send a receipt and provide support. We never see or store your full card or bank account number; Stripe does, under Stripe’s privacy policy.
Email you send us. If you write to [email protected] we keep the correspondence so we can reply and keep a record of any request you make.
Site analytics. We use Jetpack Stats to see aggregate page views and referrers. It sets a cookie and records an anonymized IP address; it does not identify you to us. Our hosting provider (Bluehost) and its content delivery network (Cloudflare) keep standard server logs for security and performance.
What we do not do
We do not sell, rent or share your information with anyone for their own marketing. We do not run advertising. We do not send marketing email to anyone who has not asked for it. If we ever launch a newsletter it will be opt-in, with a working unsubscribe link in every message.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as needed to provide re-downloads, support and refunds, and as required for tax and accounting purposes. Correspondence is kept for as long as it is useful to answer your questions.
Your choices
You may ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to records we must keep for tax purposes). Write to [email protected]. You can block or delete cookies in your browser at any time; the site works without them.
Children
This site is for organizations and the professionals who run them. It is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be noted on this page.
